If anything we installed goes dark, we come back and fix it. Between January 2 and 15, it all comes down.
Now is peak install season. Early November books fast, and Thanksgiving, Thursday Nov 26, is when most homes switch on.

What we don't do.
- Electrical work. We do plug-in seasonal lighting. If a display needs a new outdoor outlet, a licensed electrician adds it, and we'll tell you before install day.
- Drilling into brick, stone or stucco
- Lighting branches near power lines, or pruning your trees

Before you book.
How much does Christmas light installation cost?
It depends on what gets lit: feet of roofline, how high it is, and how many trees, bushes and wreaths you add. The instant quote shows an itemized price for your own house in about 2 minutes.
Do you supply the lights?
Yes. The lights are leased for the season unless your quote says otherwise. We design the display, install commercial-grade lights and clips, service them during the season and take it all back in January. There's nothing for you to buy or store.
When should I book?
As early as you can. Most Austin homes want lights on by Thanksgiving weekend. Lights can go up early and stay off until the night you choose.
Do I need to be home for the install?
No. As long as we can reach the house and your outdoor outlets have power, we can do the whole job while you're at work. If you're in a gated community, tell us how the gate works. We test the lights before we leave and text you photos.
What if it rains on my install day?
We move your date. Crews don't go up ladders or onto roofs in rain, hail, sleet or snow. We'll text or email you as early as we can and put you on our next open day.
Can I add more after I book?
Yes. Before install day, call or text and we'll update your quote. On install day, ask the crew: if they have the materials, they can usually add it right then. Once they've left, a return trip may carry a trip charge, and we'll tell you the cost first.
When do the lights come down?
Takedown runs from January 2 to January 15. If your HOA has an earlier deadline, tell us and we schedule inside it.
Will the lights damage my roof, gutters or stone?
We use clips made for gutters, shingles, tile and stone, and we don't drill into brick or limestone.
What if part of the display goes dark?
Call or text (737) 777-9099, or email contact@sapienlighting.com. If a light we supplied fails or something in our install comes loose, we fix it free, as many times as it takes. We're usually back out within 48 hours, and simple things like a tripped outlet can often be sorted by text first.
Wind or squirrels took my lights down. Now what?
Tell us and we'll come fix it. Weather and animals aren't installation errors, but your first trip for that kind of damage is free. Each one after that is $50, and we'll tell you before we charge anything.
I don't have an outdoor outlet. Can you still light my house?
Often there's a workable plug-in option, and we can usually tell from your photos. We do plug-in seasonal lighting only, so if a display truly needs a new outlet, a licensed electrician adds it first. We'll tell you before install day.
Do you have a referral deal?
Yes, $50 each. Send us a friend and they get $50 off their install. You get a $50 credit once their install is paid. You need to be a Sapien customer to earn it, so have them give us your name when they book.
