What facilities tell us

What a campus needs from a Christmas lighting vendor

Students everywhere, a fixed event calendar and a procurement process.

01

Student safety

No lift work during passing periods or drop-off, cords never across walkways, work zones closed and signed. We follow your contractor check-in and background rules.

02

Around the academic calendar

Install in the quiet windows before the winter concert and holiday events, takedown over winter break or in January before spring term.

03

Procurement-ready

Line-item proposal, COI with the institution named, W-9 and references in the format your business office needs. Formal bids answered in full.

Campus work

Facilities approval first, then a schedule built around classes

We submit the install and power plan to facilities, follow your contractor check-in and background requirements, and work only the hours and zones approved. Lift work happens when students are in class or off campus.

Universities with several buildings and private schools with one quad get the same approach, scaled to the campus.

Safety

Safe commercial Christmas light installation, for your people and ours

Passing periods, carpool lines, athletics after dark and a lift by the chapel. Our campus safety plan is approved by facilities before anything is scheduled.

Insured before we arrive

Certificate of insurance and W-9 with every proposal. Your risk manager can see coverage before anyone sets foot on site.

Lifts and fall protection

Boom lifts, harnesses and ladder protocols for roofline and canopy work. No one freelances on a parapet.

From the plug out

We work from the outlet out: GFCI-protected circuits, commercial-grade cords and timers, nothing overloaded. Need a new circuit? We connect you with a licensed electrician or walk your own electrician through the plan.

Clear walkways

No cords across sidewalks, ADA routes or fire lanes. Cords secured and covered; cones and tape around active work.

Around your hours

Early morning, after hours and weekend installs so work zones never meet your busiest hours.

One safety plan

Every crew on your property, Sapien's own or a partner crew we supervise, works to the same plan and the same standard.

School & university Christmas lighting FAQ

Can you work while school is in session?

Do your crews follow our contractor background rules?
Send the requirements with the request. We follow your check-in process and provide what your policy requires.
Can you take it down over winter break?
Yes. Break is often the easiest window. Otherwise takedown is in January before spring term.
Can you respond to a formal bid?
Yes. Send the solicitation and we respond in the required format with insurance and references.
Can the lights be in school colors?
Yes, on the roofline or a display tree. Most campuses keep trees and entrances warm white.
