Safety

Safe commercial Christmas light installation, for your people and ours

Commercial lighting is roof work, lift work and electrical work on a property full of customers, tenants or residents. We plan for that first.

Insured before we arrive

Certificate of insurance and W-9 with every proposal. Your risk manager can see coverage before anyone sets foot on site.

Lifts and fall protection

Boom lifts, harnesses and ladder protocols for roofline and canopy work. No one freelances on a parapet.

From the plug out

We work from the outlet out: GFCI-protected circuits, commercial-grade cords and timers, nothing overloaded. Need a new circuit? We connect you with a licensed electrician or walk your own electrician through the plan.

Clear walkways

No cords across sidewalks, ADA routes or fire lanes. Cords secured and covered; cones and tape around active work.

Around your hours

Early morning, after hours and weekend installs so work zones never meet your busiest hours.

One safety plan

Every crew on your property, Sapien's own or a partner crew we supervise, works to the same plan and the same standard.

843 feet of roofline and 47 trees, installed in one day

A West Austin estate with the scale of a small commercial property: long rooflines, a courtyard and fountain, and mature live oaks across the driveway. Designed, installed in a single day in early December, serviced through the season and taken down in January.

A night rendering comes with every proposal, so the board, the owner or the marketing team can approve a picture, not a description.

Questions

Commercial Christmas lighting FAQ

When should we book?
Now. We hold install slots through December and start most commercial jobs about a week after approval. The earlier you call, the more say you have over the date.
Can you install after hours or on weekends?
Yes. Early morning, after close and weekends are normal for retail, hospitality and medical properties. Phased installs across buildings are fine too.
What about power?
We work from the plug out: GFCI-protected outdoor circuits, commercial cords and timers, nothing overloaded. If you need a new circuit we connect you with a licensed electrician, or brief your own electrician on the load plan.
Who owns the lights?
Sapien does. They are leased, labeled and stored by us, so nothing lives in your maintenance closet and failed strands are our problem, not yours.
When does it come down?
In January. Takedown and storage are included in the season price.
Do you subcontract?
Most work is our own crews. For large or fast installs we bring in partner crews we supervise, under the same safety plan. You still have one contact and one invoice.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. Certificate of insurance and W-9 with every proposal, and we can name your property or management company as additional insured.
Does someone need to be on site during install?
No. If we can reach the building and the outdoor circuits are live, nobody has to walk with us. We test the lights before we leave and send your contact photos. If your property requires check-in or an escort, we follow that.
Who do we call if something goes dark?
Call (737) 777-9099 or email contact@sapienlighting.com. We’re usually on site within 48 hours. If our lights or our install caused it, the fix is at no charge.
What if a storm or animals damage the display?
Your first service trip for weather or animal damage is free. After that, we quote any trip before we roll, so there are no surprise invoices.
What happens if weather hits our install date?
Crews don’t work on ladders, lifts or roofs in rain, hail, sleet or snow. We tell your contact as early as we can and move you to our next open slot.
Can we add to the scope after install?
Yes. Proposals are line-itemed, so adding a tree or a building is simple. It’s easiest before install day. If the crew has to come back, we price the return trip first.
Do multi-year agreements cost less?
Yes. Two- and three-year agreements lock your pricing and lower the second year, because the design is done and the lights are already labeled for your property.
