Commercial Christmas/Cities & districts
Cities, districts & downtowns · Central Texas
Christmas Lighting for Cities & Districts in Central Texas, main street, the square and the park, ready for the ceremony.
City programs, MUD entrances and downtown associations. Public-space lighting built for crowds and weather, with the bid documents, insurance and schedule a public buyer needs.
What public buyers tell us
What a city or district needs from a Christmas lighting vendor
The ceremony date is public, the budget is public, and the paperwork has to be right the first time.
Bid-ready, on time
Line-item scope, night rendering, schedule, insurance certificate and W-9 in the format your procurement needs. If the program goes out to bid, we respond to the bid.
Public-space safety
Street trees, sidewalks and plazas with crowds under them. Fixtures out of reach, cords overhead or protected, traffic control where lifts meet a street.
One lighting night
Tree lightings and parades are on the city calendar and in the newspaper. We finish and test the ceremony area first and can be on site for the event.
For public spaces
Christmas light installation for cities, districts and downtowns
Squares, streets, entrances and parks.
Tree wrapping & canopy
Street and square trees wrapped trunk and limb, the signature of a Texas downtown in December.
Large-scale displays
The community tree, lit arches over main street and photo moments for residents.
Entrances, monuments & signs
City limit signs, district entry monuments and MUD entrances along the main road in.
Roofline & architecture
City hall, pavilions, gazebos and bandstands in warm white C9.
Wreaths, garland & bows
Lit wreaths and garland on light poles, railings and facades along the merchant blocks.
In-season service
Timers, outages and storm damage handled all season, with a standing weekly check available for busy downtowns.
Materials are not just roofline bulbs: C9 and C7 LED, mini lights for wrapping, net lights, lit garland and wreaths, bistro strands, RGB and permanent track. All commercial grade, all chosen for Texas sun and wind.
How public programs work
Planning for this year and the next
Many city programs are already awarded for the current season. If yours is, this is the time to walk the square and plan next year's program while this year's is still up. Districts and MUDs with smaller scopes can often still be done this season.
Merchant associations and chambers can bundle a whole block of storefronts into one program, so each business pays a share and the street looks like one design.

Safety
Safe commercial Christmas light installation, for your people and ours
Parade crowds, traffic, kids on shoulders under the street trees. Our public-space safety plan covers lift work at the curb, overhead cords and clear sidewalks.
Insured before we arrive
Certificate of insurance and W-9 with every proposal. Your risk manager can see coverage before anyone sets foot on site.
Lifts and fall protection
Boom lifts, harnesses and ladder protocols for roofline and canopy work. No one freelances on a parapet.
From the plug out
We work from the outlet out: GFCI-protected circuits, commercial-grade cords and timers, nothing overloaded. Need a new circuit? We connect you with a licensed electrician or walk your own electrician through the plan.
Clear walkways
No cords across sidewalks, ADA routes or fire lanes. Cords secured and covered; cones and tape around active work.
Around your hours
Early morning, after hours and weekend installs so work zones never meet your busiest hours.
One safety plan
Every crew on your property, Sapien's own or a partner crew we supervise, works to the same plan and the same standard.
How it works
How commercial Christmas lighting works, from call to lit
Site walk
We measure the roofline, count trees and locate power. You tell us the budget range and the date it needs to be lit.
Proposal and rendering
Night rendering, line-item scope and schedule, with the certificate of insurance and W-9 attached.
Install
Early morning, after hours or weekends. Phased across buildings if you prefer. Lit and tested before we leave.
Service
Timers, outages and storm damage handled. You get a direct line, not a ticket queue.
Takedown and storage
Everything comes down, gets labeled and stored. Next year starts with a phone call.
